Hi, I’m Goose! I’m a super-loving 6 year old grey and white boy, who was found one morning in September wandering outside at the rescue’s clinic (I sure knew where to go for help)! I was already neutered, so I’m pretty sure I was in a home at some point, but no one stepped forward to claim me ☹ You’re probably wondering how a cat came to be named Goose. Well, the day I was found, on my first car ride with the rescue, I was honking like a goose! The helper who was driving me actually thought her car was making a funny sound, until she peeked in on me at a stoplight and realized the source of the sound was yours truly! I had some tummy troubles at first, but with some meds and TLC I’m doing much better now, and I’m all ready to find my forever family. I’ve discovered that I LOVE playing with toy catnip mice—they are my absolute favorite. I do like to drink a lot of water (staying hydrated is important!), and I really enjoy wet food the best. I like sleeping in high up places like cat trees, and I definitely enjoy a good snuggle. My humans have noticed that when they go to pick me up, I wrap my front legs around them like I’m hugging them. One of my people’s favorite things about me is my soulful eyes…they say they are just gorgeous! I’ve gotten along with all the other cats at my foster, although my helpers think I would also do fine in a home without other cats. I’m not sure if I’ve ever been around dogs or kids, but I think with proper introductions I would be fine. I’m a very laid back guy; I just want a safe home with people who love me that I can love and cuddle with! So that’s my story! I can’t wait to meet you, we’ll have a honkin good time!
