Meet Goldie, a seven month old stunning orange and brown tabby with medium-length fur that shines as beautifully as her potential. Goldie is still learning that humans can be kind, and she needs extra time to feel safe and secure. With patience and understanding, this gentle soul will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Goldie needs to go to a home that has at least one other cat, she LOVES other cats and really takes their lead: think of it like you're getting your cat, a cat and she's super pretty to look at. In her foster home, Goldie has her "safe den" and where she is fed and has litter and water. She goes here to feel safe and lets her foster people pet her and will rub on them and even elevator bum! Out and about in the home, she doesn't like to be touched (yet!) but doesn't hide. She has become quite brave and acts just like the other cats in the home, playing, sleeping etc. She has jumped onto the couch a couple times close to the humans but for the most part, would rather not have humans perceive her outside her safe den. Lately, she's been napping with her foster people. This has come a VERY long way and her foster family has faith with time and patience that will change considering her behaviour in her "safe den". If you have a soft spot for shy cats and are willing to let Goldie come out of her shell at her own pace, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of love. Give this sweet girl the chance she deserves! All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175.
