Etta is a super fun outgoing little girl. Playful and confident, she loves her toys and sisters Elena, Eva and Eloise. She would love to be adopted with Eva, as they have the same personality and play and sleep together. Etta has an unusual coloring, looking very much like the color red Abyssinian cats have. She is gorgeous and loves people, likes to curl up next to you purring when she is worn out from playing. Etta is a happy silly girl and ready for her next big adventure being your next favorite cat. ##2162243##Adoption process1. Review the description of the pet you are interested in to make sure that the information we have fits with your particular needs and desires. In most cases, the information on the website is current and gives the information that we have about the particular pet. The picture of the pet does not tell the whole story. 2. Complete the adoption application at https://pawsforlifenc.org. Please make sure that you give us as much information about yourself as you can. List all animals currently living with you including other dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. The application needs to be complete in order to help us determine if the pet you have chosen is a good match for your home. 3. Once the application is submitted we will contact you, your references, and your vet. 4. We require a home visit prior to dog adoptions. 5. If more than one person applies, we will go with the BEST fit. If all things are equal, we go in the order the applications were received. 6. Once the home visit has been completed, you will be asked to complete an adoption agreement. 7. The adoption fee is $325 for dogs under 6 months, $300 for 6 months and older. The adoption fee is $125 for kittens under 1 year ($225 for 2 kittens), $85 for cats 1 year and older. This fee helps us to provide the necessary medical care and other needs for the pets while in foster care. 8. All Paws For Life NC pets are spayed or neutered if old enough, current on shots, micro chipped, and to our knowledge, in good health before they are adopted out. Puppies under 6 months of age will require a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit in addition to the adoption fee and a special puppy spay/neuter agreement. Kittens under 6 months will require a $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit in addition to the adoption fee. We are all volunteers and receive no monetary compensation for our work with the pets. The adoption fee is used to help defray costs in the rescue and care of the pets. 9. Congratulations! You are on your way to having your new companion.
