Emerson "Sonny" is currently living with a wonderful foster family so he could learn to trust people. He is making excellent progress and is now ready to find his forever home. Sonny loves to play with balls and string. When he trusts you, he will reward you with loud purrs and snuggles. Sonny does not appreciate being carried or held, unless it is on his terms. He does like to play hard to get! Sonny doesn't like loud noises or surprises so a predictable home without little ones would be perfect. A friendly mentor cat would be fine, though. He is fine being left alone for long periods of time. We think Emerson is very special and know you will too! A little patience and understanding will reward you with a very loyal companion.
