CLIFFORD Tabby Young - Adoption, Rescue
CLIFFORD is a cute, friendly boy who was rescued from living outdoors this winter. He is at least 2yr. old. This fellow loves to rub against your leg and enjoys being scratched under his chin. He is hoping a special person will open their heart and home to him. Clifford has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is not the same as HIV in people. FIV can not be transmitted to humans or dogs. It can be transmitted from cat to cat but the primary mode of transmission for FIV is through bite wounds. Casual, non-aggressive contact does not appear to be an efficient route of spreading the virus. As a result, cats in households with stable social structures where housemates do not fight are at little risk of acquiring FIV infections. DOB 1/9/16 Questions? Interested?
