Hello! My name is Chessie and I am looking for a new, loving home. I was dropped off at a kind lady's home several months ago and she has been feeding me since, but I crave to have an indoor home of my own. Since I have been brought in I have been neutered, given flea prevention, and my wounds are now fully healed up! I am very playful and do like to play nip and paw at you, but I am also very lovable and want nothing more than to follow you and lay next to you for as many pets as you can give me! I got along great with the other kitty that was there, and I love attention from everyone, but because of my playful nature older kids would be the best for me. I do have one thing I’d like my future family to know: I am FIV positive. While it's no big deal now that I've been neutered, I do need to have an indoor only home to help keep me healthy. I look forward to meeting my new family!Adoption processAn adoption application is required. We do check references.Adoption feesDogs/puppies $150Cats/kittens $90Spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm testing and FIV/Leukemia testing included. All cats must be indoor unless otherwise specified. No de claw. Some dogs require fenced yards. We are an all volunteer organization and many of us work full time. It may take up to a week to respond.
