Button And Silver, Russian Blue For Adoption In Tiburon, California
Button and Silver, 2 gentle homeless cats in need of a foster or adoptive home before construction starts in the area that has been their home territory for years. Coming across them, one is apt to see their tails entwined. They are the last two cats left in a colony where all other cats have been adopted. Recently, the property owner informed me that all cats must be gone soon before construction starts. Button ( the Tuxedo female) is somewhat social with her caregivers. She meows and allows some petting. Silver, a handsome Russian Blue needs socialization - he is shy but very gentle. Another pressing concern is that they have been known to cross a very dangerous road. I am looking for someone who has room in their home and heart to foster these two kitties, to work on socializing them and help me assess if they can adjust to a home or a safe backyard situation. Both are fixed and seem quite healthy. If you are interested, I would get a current vet check up. Thanks for considering helping to create a safer future for these two beautiful cats. Please text or call Marcia at 510-734-XXXX or email me at firstname.lastname@example.orgAdoption processAdopting a kitty (refers to both cats and kittens), is fun and at the same time, a lifetime commitment. An application is given to potential adopters asking some basic questions. There is an adoption agreement reflecting all the vet information and agreement terms. Foster parents are always delighted to answer questions. To provide continuity for the kitty, the foster parent will deliver the kitty to the new home. To help defray the cost of veterinary care, we ask an adoption fee of $125.00 or two for $200.00. For older cats, we often have sponsors to cover the fee.Shelter locationSaturdays 11-4 ...
