Butternut came to us with an injured front leg. He spent some time at the shelter healing and now he is ready to find is forever home. Since he has been here we have found that he is a very sweet boy. He loves to be pet, always asking for attention when we get in each morning. He also never says no to snack time! He is an all around nice cat that would love to come home with you! Contact FCF if you would like to meet him. ##2213668##Adoption processYou must first fill out an adoption application. Please go to "Site Map" under the home tab and click on the "Forms and applications" tab to find an application. Allow 2-3 days for us to process your application A volunteer will contact you and arrange for you to meet the pet you have chosen to see if it is a good match. If all is well, you will sign an adoption contract, pay an adoption fee and you will have a new family member. All cats are spayed and neutered as part of the adoption. They may be tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) for a fee of $15.Shelter locationTo see the cat you would like to adopt, please call or email us and we will make arrangements for you to meet him/her. We also host adoption events periodically at Petco in Plover, WI.
