This terrific tabby girl is Befana! She's currently our longest staying feline resident and she is READY to go home! Befana has been hanging out with us for several months now and is still looking for her purr-fect match! Befana was dumped on our doorstep on Christmas morning with a litter of kittens in tow. She was an excellent mom to her babies who all have found their own families and has been patiently waiting for her turn. Befana has since taken up the maternal role for any of the new kittens that come in the shelter and comforts them as if they were her own. She does great with all the other kitties she has shared her space with and has been a source of comfort for all the new and scared residents. Because of this, we think she would be happiest in a home with other cats. As for dogs? She hasn't been terribly bothered by the sounds and smells of her canine neighbors.She is truly a diamond in the rough and we know that she's going to give so much love to her future family!**Spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and up-to-date on vaccines**Adoption processOnce an application is filled out for animal of interest, the adoption coordinator and director will review app. *Vet reference- will call vet and verify you are a client *Current pets- must be up to date on vaccinations*If renting- will contact landlord to verify can have petsCan take 1-3 days for approval or denial.
