This is Beauty, a 9 pound boy who is 18 months old. This gorgeous darling is all black except for the tiny white patch on his chest. He is sweet, especially once he gets to know you so a slower introduction will blossom his sweetness faster :-) Watching the world through the window is another one of his favorite pastimes, other than food, treats, and pets of course. Looking for his forever home!! Come meet Beauty soon as he just wants a person to call his own:- Schedule with us (Pet Connect Rescue) to meet Beauty at a mutually convenient time & place.- Visit with Beauty Saturday or Sunday at the Petsmart located at 2902 S Shepherd Drive in Houston TX, 11:30-4pm.Adoption processAll of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program. Our adoption fee of $125 for adult cats and kittens covers only a small fraction of the cost of rescuing, rehabilitating, and housing these homeless animals. Donations help us to provide veterinary care, medicine, vaccinations, food, kitty litter, and other supplies, so that the only limit on our foster caregivers is the size of their homes – not the size of their pocketbooks.Shelter locationWe have adoption centers in Houston and Central Texas: Houston:Petco - 5450 Weslayan Street, Houston, Texas, 77005; 713-665-XXXX PetSmart #1107 - 2902 S Shepherd Dr, Houston, Texas 77098; 713-520-XXXX Killeen:PetSmart #628 – 2500 East Central Texas Highway, Killeen, Texas, 76543 (off W.S. Young); 254-634-XXXX Temple:PetSmart #1596 – 3550 South General Bruce Drive, Temple, Texas, 76504 (in the same shopping center as Best Buy, Home Depot, and Target); 254-742-XXXX Cats are available for adoption 7 days a week, any time the store is open at the Temple & Killeen locations. Adoptions at the Houston S. Shepard PetSmart only take place between 11.30am-4.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The Petco location in Houston is a cattery where the cats can be viewed any time the store is open. *Please note that all of the animals listed on Adopt a Pet for Pet Connect Rescue are based in Houston. The Petsmart adoption location listed for the animals is where they are at the weekends. At all other times the animals are at their foster parents house.
