Adopt Teager a Orange or Red Tabby Domestic Shorthair cat in Conneaut
Teager is four. I brought Teager (shelter name "Opie") home several months ago from the Erie Humane Society as a playmate for my 8 yr old Ragdoll, Medora. Teager is my 1st male cat, close in size to Medora and I thought they had similar temperaments. He had only been in the shelter for about 4 mons and got along with the other cats and was loved by the staff for his gentle disposition. Once I got Teager home, he had way too much energy for my Ragdoll. The fights (no nails pulled) are constant in the house. He's gentle (doesn't pull claws), extremely trusting and able to be picked up. He's also feisty, fast and does not care much for excessive petting. He loves to sit on laps and sleep on human beds. I really wish I could find a home for this cat and remove the almost constant fighting. If I don't find a home, I will keep him because I don't view animals as disposable. I would just like peace to reign in my house again.
