Adopt Sasha a Tortoiseshell Siamese / Mixed (short coat) cat in Plain City
Plain City, OH
This is Sasha. Sasha is a gorgeous tortie point Siamese who is about two years old. She has gorgeous blue eyes and little white paws—so she could also be considered a snowshoe Siamese!! She adores people and is okay with some cats (mostly males--she does not seem to like other dominate females) if slowly introduced, but would not mind being an only cat and getting all of your attention. In fact, we think it is probably best that Sasha be an only cat as we can't always figure out which cats she likes and which she does not. Sasha is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV and ready for a forever home!! No young kids. Her current foster mom says: "Sasha is a adorable cat! We all are absolutely crazy about her!She is exquisite with very soft fur; a light colored tortie-point Siamese. She takes great care of herself and always uses the litterbox. She doesn’t seem to care much for wet cat food so we’ve fed her a mix of dry Iams (which she tolerates) and dry Purina cat chow Naturals (which she really loves-it’s what Kim brought when she dropped Sasha off).Sasha is very friendly with all the humans we’ve introduced to her, adults and teens. She allows us to pick her up and she purrs and rubs her face all over our faces. She loves to be petted and have her chin scratched. She meows quietly, “chirps” and “trills” quite a bit when she is near people. I really only hear her meow loudly when she’s in the office with the door closed and she wants out. I’ve been amazed at Sasha’s graceful athleticism. She jumps into the window sills of the basement windows and gets onto the tops of all our bookshelves. She knocks a lot of stuff around so I’ve tried to keep surfaces clear! She loves to explore and has quickly outgrown being in the office all day. I’ve been trying to give her the run of our entire finished basement for a few hours every day. Sasha is very curious and playful; she’ll play hide and seek and tag with us (although she mainly wants us to seek her) and she likes to to chase a piece of tinsel on a stick and some stuffed mice and generally enjoys romping and running around. She will roughhouse (bite and bunny kick) with my hand without getting too aggressive. Of course she’s not always super-energetic and will sit on the sofa or in the window or swish around our feet. She’s fairly independent-generally doesn’t come sit on my lap, but will stay a while if I put her there. Sadly, she doesn’t like our female cat, but is okay with the males. She had been around cats in the past and did like another cat, but that was a very non-dominate kitty. Perhaps with time, she would be nice with another kitty buddy, but it is probably best for her to be listed as an only cat. If she liked our female kitty, we would definitely keep her. We love her."Please email us at XXXX@gmail.com if you would like to adopt this sweet girl who has a diva tortie attitude.
