RosieIf you read my brother's stories, you know I arrived at the HSHC on May 3 because our owner lost her home. We are littermates and are all 4-years-old. Although we like each other, we do not require that we be adopted together. You might never even know that we are siblings because we don't always hang out together. We all moved to the Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe (SKCC) on May 8 and have settled in just fine. I found a little square, white cubby under an end table perfect for taking naps, watching the room, and staying out of commotion. I come out for meals and snacks and to use the litterbox, but I usually hop right back into my little place. When the interviewer lady finished talking to Rio, she knelt down to greet me. I sniffed her finger and rubbed my head against her hand so she knew she could pet me. She told me my brown Tabby coat was so soft and lovely to touch. I told her I already knew that, but it was still nice to hear. We made a little small talk, and then I closed my eyes. She took the hint. I hope my new owner understands that being a social butterfly isn't a requirement of being a good house cat! 5-13-24
