Reece's is a silky soft, pretty little tabby girl. She’s a super-playful kitty who loves all sorts of toys, especially her wand toy with a stuffed bird on the end. She’ll chase and fetch it repeatedly, chirping in delight, carrying it to a box or basket, and hoping it will fly again. Full of purrs and love, this sweet girl will melt your heart. She will come rub all over you to get attention. She’s particularly quirky about her food storage. She loves to cover her bowl of food with as many toys as possible. If fed dry food, she pulls all the kibble out of the bowl and onto the floor to eat later. She’s a delightful kitty… funny to watch and joyful to be around. She’s lived most of her life with Speckles, so if you’re considering a pair, consider adopting Speckles, too!In her early months, Reece's developed a viral infection that persisted for quite a while. She was treated and is no longer infected, but she does have some remnants of sinus inflammation and the occasional watery eye. When she carries a toy in her mouth, you can hear her little snorty breathing. She would love a 4-legged playmate in her new home. Apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet or visit her at our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, given a few rounds of dewormer and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
