Female, born March 2024, DSH Personality: friendly, high energy, outgoing, snuggly Sheena is so many things, but mainly, she's basically the cool girl in every movie you've ever seen. Sheena definitely has Main Character Energy. From the very beginning she had sass and determination, and she was the first to start exploring outside the nesting den. She has those classic playful tomboy vibes, and is a high energy girl who loves to lead her brothers into trouble making. But she's also the girl who just wants you to take her in your arms (er, lap) and give her snuggles. Or she wants to gaze out the window, looking longingly at the horizon, with the look that conveys she KNOWS she can conquer whatever is out there once she gets out of this small town (well, at least she makes little lunges at the things she sees moving outside). Sheena is also that character who's the lead singer of a super cool band. AND she also plays bass. You know how in movies there is often a female lead who is a snoozefest and they have a best friend who is super cool and you're like, why isn't the movie about THEM instead? Yeah, exactly. This is Sheena. She's the cool best friend, the one who doesn't apologize for who she is and blazes her own path, the one you want to know. Or date. Or be. But in a non-stalker way. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter (unless specified). We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam prior to adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCKR. City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Cat specific vetting: Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia vaccines, as age appropriate. Cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a FELV/FIV negative mother in foster care. The kittens have age-appropriate vetting to date, which includes a veterinary exam, deworming, microchip, and the first FVRCP vaccine. An adopter will need to agree to cover costs of spay/neuter when he/she is age-appropriate (usually 16-20 weeks) and will need to continue his/her kitten vaccines (including rabies) as he/she grows older. Kittens under 12 weeks of age must be adopted in pairs or to a home with friendly resident feline. They will not be considered as singles.
