Meet Precious! This pretty, mature girl of about 9 years old had led a peaceful, quiet life with her person. Until recently, she was even able to live in a nursing home with her. Then her person was in a bad accident and had to move, leaving Precious without a home to go to. Precious spent a few weeks in the nursing home on her own, where a nice nurse checked on her, but no one could keep her, and most of that time she spent alone. She was confused, scared and lonely.Precious is very affectionate and attentive once she realizes you are her person. She is shy around strangers, but actually settled into her foster home fairly quickly. She has even started to play! If you want a lap sitter and a cat who loves to snuggle, she is your cat!Precious had a recent vet visit and is the picture of health. She is now waiting for her new forever person to find her. She would prefer to be back in a quiet home without other pets, like her last home. Also, after being in foster a couple of days, we discovered that Precious is declawed in front. Because of this, Precious’s new people have to want an indoor only kitty.
