**Courtesy Post** Do you love Siamese cats, and want to make all the difference in the world to a sweet girl who's comfortable life is being up-ended? Meet Peaches, a healthy, approximate 10 year old flame point whose owners just had to be moved to assisted living and were told they couldn't take her with them. Peaches is a petite kitty, more like the size of a big kitten. Among things she loves best, Peaches loved sitting with her people while they did puzzles, often sitting in one of their laps or on their chest. She does like to sit in a lap just a little bit each day... but it's always on her terms! She's friendly and likes to be near you, keeping you company while you move around the house, but she's not overly affectionate in general. Peaches DOES like to be the center of attention, and will plop herself right in the middle of a crowd so that everyone can admire her properly (as the royal lady she is!) Sometimes she can be particular about being touched or scratched too firmly... she's a bit sensitive to firm touch. She's funny though, and LOVES if you hold a pen for her so she can rub her face and shoulders all over it! Peaches didn't sleep on the bed with her people at night when they were home (even though they wished she did!) and they say she doesn't really have any bad habits to speak of. Last week, her current caretaker did see her become a lot more friendly. We're guessing it's due to her knowing something is wrong (both owners now in assisted living which is a new development) and so she’s lonely. The video included is from that visit. As far as we know, Peaches hasn't had any experience with little kids, dogs, or other cats, so a quieter home will likely be the best fit. ****This is a courtesy post.
