OakI was born six years ago, and for as long as I can remember, my role in life has been to be a cuddly lap cat. I cannot tell you anything about my kittenhood or where I have been. I came from a crowded shelter to the HSHC on April 9th and received some medication for tummy trouble. I feel much better now, enough so that I was moved to the Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe (SKCC). At my age, so many moves are a bit disconcerting, but I am getting used to the open spaces and quiet cubbies the SKCC offers us. Oh, by the way, despite my name, I am a female kitty. The staff here tells me I was shy when I first arrived, but I am gradually building my courage and becoming more social. I've let it be known that I am interested in sitting on laps, giving nose kisses, and earning the title of "cuddle-bug." I am a lovely blend of white and grey with a distinguishing mark on the left side of my nose. If you come to see me, you may have to look at the various cat trees since I love to perch up high.
