Adopt Minx a Tortoiseshell Cymric / Mixed (long coat) cat in Liberty
Pretty Cymric girl . Born about June 2005, Minx is a very special girl. Her owner died, and the daughter couldn’t keep her so Minx came to our rescue. She was badly matted, so now she has a really bad haircut but no mats. We are told Minx was injured as a kitten. She is completely deaf, has no vision in her right eye and sometimes walks in circles. She is a little wobbly so she can’t jump. No counters or high beds for this girl! But she is very sweet and loves to be petted. If you stop petting her, she will reach one paw out to remind you to continue. She came from a home with other cats so can get along with others, but she would prefer to be an only kitty. We had bloodwork done for her, it looked really good except for some mild kidney elevation. She is eating well now and we will see if she likes kidney diet food and will eat it. She has been treated for fleas, spayed, tested FIV/FeLV and heartworm negative, and microchipped. She is also declawed. Her adoption fee is $50 More photos and video at https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipP8PeYGtCMr546gu0LaOROdyIBi9_8VS1P4PabEfTQnhMQChE3BLcQUcLuA7ovRYA?key=c2Z6Y2psdExNWVNJczAxZnRuS3p0R1FENENvTkZn BONUS: comes with certificate for free exam at Banfield and she has been awarded a $200 veterinary care grant from Haarbor. When she is adopted her new owner can have them pay the grant directly to their vet to provide for future care.
