Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) is a neurological condition where the cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for coordination and balance, is underdeveloped. This underdevelopment can lead to symptoms such as tremors, uncoordinated movements, and difficulty with balance and spatial awareness. Cats with moderate cerebellar hypoplasia can still lead happy and fulfilling lives, especially in homes where they receive understanding and supportive care. Despite his condition, Max is a complete love bug who adores snuggling up right beside you and purring contentedly. While he may not be the rough-and-tumble type, he's definitely up for some gentle playtime, especially if it involves receiving pets and cuddles.
