Hi, my name is Maurice, I`m approximately 1 year old! My previous owner states that I am a Siamese/Balinese mix which may or may not be true, but we do know that Maurice is a very handsome man with very unique coloring pattern. I came to Macomb County Animal Control because my previous owner was moving out of state and was unable to take me with them. I`m sad to lose my home, but I`m looking forward to making new memories and being loved by a new family that will commit to me for my lifetime. I`ve been pretty nervous and scared in the shelter environment; as you can imagine it`s loud with lots of barking dogs. I`d definately prefer a home on the quieter side with older kids. I`m current with all my age appropriate vaccinations, but will need to see your vet within about 2 weeks to make sure I stay happy & healthy.Please be sure that you give me lots of TLC and time to adjust to my new home and surroundings.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-3pm.
