Adopt Lady a Tan or Fawn Tabby Domestic Shorthair / Mixed (short coat) cat in
from Lady's foster parent:"She has been so great and friendly. She’s so easygoing. Lady loves watching cars go by from her window seat and loves to play with toys, but her all-time favorite activity is napping. Not a jumper — hasn’t even dared to go on my bed or couch yet!"Lady's a beautiful "lynx point" domestic short hair that was found stray in West Philly! And now she's living it up in foster care while she awaits her forever home! She's generally healthy but will need an adopter with a careful eye to monitor her overall health. Lady is FeLV+, meaning she has a weaker immune system than some other cats. FeLV is contagious to other kitties, but it does no direct harm to them other than lessen their immunity to illness, meaning Lady's adopter must keep her inside in a low-stress environment, and be sure to take her in for regular veterinarian check ups to make she's healthy inside and out. Lady could do just fine living as an only cat, or potentially with other FeLV+ kitties after a very slow, gradual introduction. For more information on her condition, please reach out to PAWS staff!Age: 4-6yrs How I came to PAWS: found as stray Animal ID#: A40267677 âI am not at the shelter.
