But just like his namesake on Blues Brothers, he was ready to hit the road to a better life. His foster mom used Churu, head pets and scratches behind the ears to quickly win him over, and she encourages potential adopters to remember the 3-3-3 rule: It takes three days to decompress, three weeks to learn a routine, and three months for a dog or cat to feel at home. And once Jake does? Hell charm his future family with his cute antics while batting at stuffed mice or little balls, and his shy but cuddly ways.
