Adopt Gatsby a Black & White or Tuxedo American Shorthair / Mixed cat in
I’ve raised Gatsby since he was four weeks old. He’s a rescue from an abandoned litter. My older cat welcomed Gatsby like a little brother, they quickly grew very close. He was such a playful kitten, so much energy. But after a year became content simply laying around and eating. Gatsby LOVES food. Like, he absolutely lives for his next meal. It would not hurt to lose a few pounds. However, it’s been difficult to enforce a diet. He gets hangry so to avoid confrontation I usually just feed him. He’s currently on Royal Canine Urinary S/O from a previous urinary tract issue. Although he gets along good with my older cat and is fairly well behaved with my almost 1yr old son, I’ve seen his patience stretched thin and worry he might develop behavioral issues. He does not like sudden movements or loud noises. He’s hissed and lashed out at my nephews, age three and 6. Ideally his new home would be fairly quiet with lots of comfy surfaces to lounge on.
