Adopt Fi a Tiger Striped Domestic Mediumhair / Mixed cat in Dexter
Fi has been a really good cat for our family since 2013. She is an outdoor cat who loves to hunt, so she loved her 1st home when we lived in a big yard. She has always been independent, but she does like to be pet, and she likes to follow us around the yard or go for walks with us. She does well with our 4 yr old daughter, but she is not used to being pick up or played with by kids, so she gets skiddish when other kids come over and want to pick her up and play with her. She is used to only getting attention on her terms, so she's only accepting of it when she's come looking for it. Since moving to a neighborhood and a small yard, she has had growing behavior problems, such as peeing on the floor in the garage instead of the litterbox and pouncing on my leg when I go outside. We lock her in the garage at night to protect her from a big racoon and fox that have been coming around, and she seems to be getting restless. She really needs a home with more yard and freedom.
