Meet CRASH! From his pointy ears to his tailless backside, this almost 2 year old Manx boy is the definition of love. If a regular cat is like ice cream, Crash is the sprinkles on top: the extra pizazz that makes you smile. He loves to cuddle, chirps when you talk to him, gives incredible head butts and is obsessed with full body rubdowns - especially tail nubbin rubbins. He is the absolutely sweetest and goodest boy. He would do well with a young kitty companion around his own age who he can play and wrestle with. He is a bit nervous at first in new environments but seems to adjust quickly. He could be in a home with a cat savvy dog. Crash has Manx syndrome, a condition common in tailless Manx cats, which affects his spine and sometimes his bowel and bladder control. He also has very mild Cerebral Hyperplasia (aka: wobbly cat syndrome). He requires a bit of extra care and patience: • Bathroom Needs: He really tries his best with using a litter box. In his foster home, they use a low profile and large litter box with clay litter that he uses majority of the time. Occaisionally, he misses the litter box and this has been rectified with a large pee pad under the litter box. He likes a clean litter box and his new family should scoop morning and night. He does need a family who understands that there will be extra work and understanding needed with this. • Mobility: While he's quite active, he might have occasional mobility challenges. He takes stairs slowly and sometimes doesn't land on his feet when he jumps off a bed or couch/chair. You may notice him swing his head occasionally in an exaggerated way, hug a wall when he's walking and how he lumbers a bit like a bear. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Young cats have an adoption fee of $175.
