Martin and Carver came to us with their mama Harriett during our Freedom Celebration month. Martin was named after Martin Luther King Jr and Carver was named after George Washington Carver.Mama Harriett had a ruptured placenta and an emergency C-section. She was an amazing mama right away and took very good care of her babies.Carver fooled her foster family, Warrior Animal Rescue for a couple weeks until they realized Carver was not a male but a sweet and haired female. The name Carver continued to stick for this little lady and she has really showed us a lot of spunk and sass but is also a very sweet and loving little lady. Neither babies love to be picked up, but will love to snuggle in your lap. Carver is shy when first meeting new people and needs a patient hand. Carver will look for gentle pets when she is ready to get to know you. She is an absolutely gorgeous girl, her coat is multi-colored due to a “fever coat” which can occur when mama goes through a major trauma during pregnancy and birth. Her coat may stay multi-colored for a little while longer but she should likely become all black like her sibling Martin.Martin was always the smaller of the two and always wanted attention right away when his foster family would spend time with them. He would eagerly climb in your lap and talk to you. He loves butt scratches and snuggling on your lap. Martin loves to tell you all about his day and tries very hard to get your attention. Both babies went through some early health issues, but have completely turned the corner and are very healthy, fun loving kittens! In his current foster family home, Martin loves to play with his sibling and has a definite bond to Carver.##2064205##
