Loving Long-haired Cat
Moved and can't keep her at my new place
Trixie is very friendly and sweet. She has a long black and white coat and loves to be brushed with just about anything. She's goofy and she's kind of bad at chasing even though she loves to try. There's been more than a few mornings when I've woken up to her trying to groom my hair, and when she's in an especially sweet mood she likes to lick my nose. She's adorable and ridiculous, and once she overcomes a little initial shyness - usually with the aid of a brush - she's a fast friend. She's five years old, spayed, litter-trained and very much an indoor cat. Laying on a porch and sitting in a window is all the experience she has outdoors. Her health is fine and she gets along well with lots of people and other cats. Unfortunately, so far she hasn't done well with dogs.I would love to keep her, but my new place is way too small for two people and pets. I'm also almost never home and she's not getting much attention at all, and it shows. The best thing I can do for her is find her a home where she will have space and windows to sit in and people to interact with her.I'm just asking for a small rehoming fee to help ensure that she goes to a proper home. If for whatever reason new owners couldn't keep her, I'd take her back to prevent her from being in a shelter or worse.
