He needs a great home!
We have a TICA registered black Bengal marble male also known as a melanistic Bengal which is when the pelt is black and covers the regular Bengal spots or marble pattern underneath. He is super sweet and loving! He has been neutered. We are unable to provide him with the attention he deserves at this time and would like to find someone that will truly appreciate him. This Bengal male is socialized with children and other pets, is up to date on shots and dewormings. He is TICA registered. We are asking $50 for a re-homing fee.We feel the melanistic Bengals have the same amazing personalities that regular Bengals do but that they seem to be more agile and quicker in general than our other Bengals. Melanism occurs in Bengals much like it does in the wild big cat species. A panther is also sometimes called a black leopard or black jaguar which actually do have spots under their dark coats that are sometimes visible and sometimes not kind of ghost spots. This is the same situation with melanistic Bengals. The genetic combination that causes this in the Bengal domestic house cat is almost the same as the gene combination that produces it in its larger wild relatives. We are located in Northern Arizona in the town of Snowflake AZ but often travel to the Mesa / Phoenix area and can meet potential new owners. We are willing to ship in the United States if the new owner pays the associated costs, typically about $400 dollars in addition to the cost of the Bengal (vet check, pet carrier, ticket cost, etc...). Please feel free to call / text 928-243-0340 or 928-243-2939 or email with any questions. Thank You!
