Cooper was fed by a 92 year old woman in Colorado. He even came inside her home to be fed, meowing at her door. The management at her home asked her to stop feeding him, so she got help to trap him and bring to a local animal shelter. Thank goodness for her! Sadly the shelter placed him on euthanasia list due to being timid and not eating. Gratefully Cooper was able to be transferred to MaxFund where he loves to eat, especially his wet food. He accepts petting on his head and on his back. He is slowly getting used to his new setting. He seems fine with other friendly cats around him. Cooper is a super senior. Though he is slowly coming out of his shell, a shelter is no place for a senior cat to live out his twilight years. We think Cooper would do well in a quiet home with a human or humans who are home a lot to dote on him and assure him he is worthy of love. He needs a family. Won't you please stop in to meet this gentle soul? Cooper is on a special diet for hyperthyroidism, which is fairly common in senior cats.
