She would like you to know that despite her being a mother she still has a lot of life to live and love to give.How much does it cost to adopt?Chickpea's base adoption price is $50, with an additional refundable $50 deposit that gets you a voucher for a complimentary spay/neuter from one of our three area veterinary clinic partners: Alpena Veterinary Clinic, Switzer Veterinary Clinic, or Sunrise Veterinary Clinic. Once proof is provided that the altering surgery has taken place, you will be issued a $50 refund check.What else comes with adopting a pet from HHS?All animals adopted from the Huron Humane Society receive a complimentary vet visit from your choice of one of our three Alpena veterinary clinic partners, as well as the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on all standard age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments.When can Chickpea be yours?Because kittens cannot be separated from their mother until they're weaned, Chickpea can be pre-adopted at this time and then go home to her family on June 8th, 2024, when her kittens are eight weeks old.
