Hi my name is Libra. I'm from Minnesota! From his foster: Libra is a fun-loving guy. He enjoys pets and often checks in with his person. He's not really a lap cat, but he will often hang out next to you for a few minutes before relocating close by. He also checks in with his human in bed, but then relocates to another spot near the bed to sleep the night away. He enjoys when his person teleworks, and he has an uncanny ability to flop down on the keyboard regardless of where it is set. Libra loves all toys and often entertains himself with one of the many available toys. He has especially enjoyed wand toys and the laser pointer. Libra gets along well with his brother and quickly adapted to being around the resident cats in his foster home. He enjoys interacting with the friendliest resident cat and he has usually, but not always, afforded plenty of space to the resident cats that were slower to accept his presence. He enjoys chasing after and wrestling with his brother and one of the resident cats. Lately, he has diligently tried to get the other resident cats to wrestle/play/chase with him, typically with limited success, some hissing, and a few swats. The less than positive results have not prevented him from trying multiple times to engage with them. Libra talks a little bit, though he's not super chatty. He can occasionally be heard offering his opinion from all corners of the house. If confined behind a closed door, he will let you know when he is ready to come out, usually within 30 seconds of the door closing or him finishing his meal. The attributes above indicate that Libra is OK with dogs and children, but he was not dog-tested in his foster home. He did meet a 10-year old, and while he was not scared of the child, he wasn't particularly fond of being picked up and told where to sit. He didn't lash out, but he did choose to move a bit further away. Libra is a litterbox pro. Libra loves all food and treats. He especially loves his wet food, with his brother's wet food running a close second. He is now a 9 pound cat instead of the 7 pounds currently listed in his bio.
