Good Soup must have confirmed placement with an EXPERIENCED ADOPTER or RESCUE PARTNER by Thursday, May 30th by 10:00 am. Should Good Soup's medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Good Soup is a 3-year-old neutered male who came in as an owner surrender on 5/10 due to Good Soup biting the child in the home multiple times unprovoked. The owner said that Good Soup is friendly and likes to play, but had multiple incidents with the child. Good Soup was adopted a few days after arriving here at ACCT, but was returned a day later on the 19th due to biting his new owners multiple times. Since being in shelter Good soup has been friendly and playful in his kennel. Due to Good Soup's behavioral concerns noted in both homes he urgently needs to leave with an experienced person who can work with him and provide him with a child free, quiet home. On 5/23 staff noted: Good Soup walked right up to the front of his kennel when I approached him. He started rubbing up against the bars and meowing trying to get my attention. I played with him using a twirled pipe cleaner and sticking it through the bars of his kennel. Good Soup was having a blast batting it around. After some play he decided to eat some of his food and then went back to meowing and rubbing up against the bars. Good Soup Medical Notes: On 5/11 during intake exam: Good Soup was found to be in good general health. Staff noted him to be bright, alert, responsive and friendly.
