Description:

We got Sophie as a kitten from the humane society. She’s 1.5 years old. Still has all 4 sets of claws, but does really well with only using her scratch posts. Does not use her claws on anything in our home. When she’s in a quiet place and she’s relaxed, she’ll let you trim her nails. Since her time with us, she has trouble with other dogs, loud noises, quick movements, and all that goes along with a household full of kids. She has gotten more anxiety-ridden recently. We came to the tearful conclusion that we want her to be happy in a more quiet and calm environment, and we know we are not the best home for her. When the house is quiet she will come out from her hiding spot. She can be very sweet. Loves her treats. She will talk to you sometimes. When she has your full undivided attention, she loves to sit on your lap and snuggle. Loves to sit in the sunshine. In a quieter environment, she will make the perfect companion for someone special.
