Hi, my name is Lucy. I came to the Santa Cruz SPCA with a group of my closest buddies! We are highly social and outgoing. We aren't considered bonded, but because we are all such good friends, you might consider taking two of us home! We were very well socialized with both other cats and humans; so, we will do well in a variety of home environments including those with kids, cats, and friendly dogs- so long as we are introduced to all beings in a slow and intentional way. If you're interested in meeting us, come down to the shelter any time Wed-Sun 11-5. Adoption processIn response to COVID-19, and the current social distancing rules, all of our animals are now being housed in foster homes and our adoption procedures have changed. Please read the following ADOPTION STEPS on our website for further details! **Please Note: Most of our adoptions are beginning with a foster-to-adopt period, and because of this, we are temporarily unable to consider applications from households outside the counties of: Santa Cruz, San Benito, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Monterey.
