Pepperoni is a beautiful 2-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on April 22, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found her in the Graysville Ohio area fending for herself. This gorgeous little 'house panther' has a sleek black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a pretty face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers. Pepperoni was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on April 30, 2024. She weighed 6.4 lbs that day. This little sweetheart had a bit of a 'cat-i-tude' when she entered our shelter (most likely because she was frightened and confused finding herself in a small cage in an unfamiliar place with people she didn't realize were her new best friends). Pepperoni will be spayed (tentatively in late May 2024) and will be ready to find her dream home either through adoption or rescue. Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (XXXX@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.Adoption processOur adoption process includes an adoption application which must be completed and approved by our shelter management. We verify veterinarian references and also approval from landlords if the pet will be housed in rental property. Home visits may also be required prior to adoption. All dogs/cats must be spayed/neutered before being adopted. Adoption fee for dogs is $150.00 which includes vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, dog tag, microchip, and spay/neuter. Adoption fee for cats is $40 and includes vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, and spay/neuter. Most adult cats (and kittens over 3-months of age) have already been spayed/neutered. Adoption fees for other species varies.Shelter locationWe are located at 90 Mt. Tom Rd. in Marietta ,Ohio 45750. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00am to 5:00pm; Sunday from Noon to 3:00pm. . Closed on Monday..
