Walter is young medium sleek fur kitty that is shy with people. He sure is tiny for his age He likes to hiss if scared or to scare you away. It's all an act to try to scare you. Poor Walter was rescued from a high kill shelter as a tiny kitten. They placed him in a foster home that didn't spend enough time socializing him and when he was not having any luck being adopted they transferred him to us in an effort to find him a patient family that has time to show him love and help to socialize him further. His ideal home would be with other kitties. He LOVES to play with other cats and loves all toys, this boy has a playful streak. he also loved. He does enjoy pets from humans, specifically head and chin scratches, but will put his ears back and sometimes hiss. He's never swatted or bit, he enjoys the attention but will need a family who understands his journey to becoming a lap cat is still ongoing and he will require lots of love, patience, and understanding along the way. Please expect to allow 45 minutes for the actual adoption process.
