Fluffy is a tiny girl with a glamorous medium-haired coat that is as soft as silk. She can be a little shy around newcomers but is very gentle and docile. She loves to curl up on a lap and purr gently as she drifts off to sleep on one of her many cat naps. When she wakes, she will be ready to acrobatically chase around a laser pointer, before venturing off to patrol her indoor territory. She was rescued in Fall of 2023 from a feral colony along with her sweet brother, Chess, and the two have spent much of their time together playing and snuggling. While they would love to be adopted as a wonderfully sweet and loving pair, they are independent enough to be adopted separately to their respective forever homes.Adoption processDuring review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease. We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption. Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative. All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted. You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings).
