After determining some different allergies that were causing me discomfort, they also realized that I had FIP. Rather than regale you with a Wikipedia definition, let's suffice it to say that I would not have survived without the intervention from the League. By no means has any of that slowed me down. Just ask anyone... I have spunk to last for days. I rule the lobby. I am the best greeter ever. I love to see the comings and goings of everyone. Soon it will be my turn to do the "goings". 💜💜Adoption processPrior to adoption, all cats and dogs are given the proper vaccinations and are spayed or neutered. All cats are tested for feline leukemia and FIV; all dogs are tested for heartworm; and all necessary vaccinations are given before animals are adopted into loving homes. Adoptions must be completed at our shelter in Batavia, Ohio. Dog Adoptions• $125 fee for adult dogs• $200 fee for puppies under 6 months• All dogs have been vet-checked, have appropriate vaccines, and have been heartworm tested.• All dogs have been spayed or neutered. Cat Adoptions• $50 fee for adult cats• $75 fee for kittens under 6 months• All cats are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, and are vet-checked and vaccinated.• All cats have been spayed or neutered.
