BONDED PAIR Pluto is a gray tabby with white who loves to be pet and brushed and to play with his foster human. He is an independent, playful, and well-behaved kitten who adores attention but does not demand it. His favorite toys include cat tunnels, cardboard houses, balls, and wand toys. Pluto especially loves to chase his brother, Marvin, around the house and to snuggle with Marvin and one of the other fosters cats. Pluto and his brother, Marvin, were born in our care on 3/18/2023. Their feral mother, Neptune, was rescued off the streets by a concerned citizen who brought her to our attention. Because their mother was unapproachable, we didn’t know she was pregnant until she gave birth! Once weaned from their mom, we immediately went to work socializing these adorable boys. Marvin and Pluto get along well with cats and kittens, and their foster believes they would do just fine in a dog-friendly home with a proper introduction. They would also do well in a home with respectful children. All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
