Mrs. COLUMBO is the calmest, most affectionate, tortoiseshell kitty. She’s full of energy and loves to explore. She often seeks a high perch to observe her surroundings. She is a good eater who is happy to share her food, and when she is at her happiest her purr is deafening.For 8 wonderful years, she had a guardian who took the best possible care of her. She provided high quality food, made sure Mrs. COLUMBO got to the veterinarian, applied monthly flea prevention, and spent generous amounts of time cuddling and brushing her. That all ended when domestic violence claimed her life at home and made Mrs. COLUMBO and her kitty friends homeless. Thanks to the kind people at Bella's Promise and Darbster Kitty, Mrs. COLUMBO has a chance to make a new start Mrs. COLUMBO has been living in a foster home full of cats and kittens, and has gotten along well with every feline, young or old. Her litter box skills are impeccable, she sharpens her claws on cardboard scratchers, and she loves to sit in a lap, particularly when that lap is parked in front of a television. It is unknown if Mrs. COLUMBO has ever met children, or dogs, but she is so calm and confident that with proper introductions and a go-slow approach she will do well. She’s super friendly, playful, and energetic. She will bring a lot of life to her new home. She enjoys eating fancy feast chunky chicken, Friskies pates, and science diet perfect weight dry food.
