Male, DSH, approx. 1 year, bonded to Pepper Jack. Personality: Friendly, lap cat, snuggly Colby Jack is super sweet and playful. As soon as you pick him up, he immediately starts purring. He loves to be pet any which way. Sometimes he'll grab a string toy and drag it around for his brother Pepper Jack to run after him. He recently learned how to play fetch and is partial to tossing around his yellow duck toy. Even though they both loving being next to each other, they love cuddling near a human together even more. During the day the pair are usually sleeping near each other, but as soon as their person(s) sit on the couch, they love to demand attention. Watching them play with each other is so fun -- usually they start grooming each other, and after a few minutes it turns into an adorable wrestling match. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter (unless specified). We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam prior to adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDR&CK. City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Cat specific: Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia vaccines. They are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a negative mother in foster care. Most cats and dogs will have a house training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained. We also update our Facebook page daily with new cats and dogs.
