Hi, I'm Cassie. I'm little now, but I think I'm going to be a perfect sized cat --- not too big, not too small - perfect. I spent my early life alone in a cage with nobody to interact with, so you would probably think that I was socially deprived. That could have happened if I was a different cat. But I am determined to enjoy life. When I became part of a foster home I walked out of my carrying case like I owned the place. My tail was up and I came face to face with my new cat partners and we soon became friends. And while I like hanging out with my new family, I am still independent. I know what I like and what I want. I love the humans in the house and will join them as they sit comfortably on the couch. I like to sit on their lap, purr loudly, rub my face against theirs and sit in the warmth of their arms. I also like making friends with other kitties in the house. But what I really want is to be part of a family that has those things for me too. I want to be with humans that don't mind me rubbing my face against theirs and sitting on their lap. I'm independent but open minded. Let's keep those things alive so we can be happy together for a long time.
