Snuggle bug, Affectionate, Calm Figaro is a very gentle giant. He is chonky but he is extremely well mannered. He loves snuggling and pets but expects humans to approach him. When petted, he gets very happy, and will flop on his side to expose the chest and later on the belly. His chest and belly are not a trap- he loooooves getting petted. He doesn't purr but he has the biggest smile. He also allows to be picked up and held. He likes to sleep by his human's feet or hips or butt. If he is not snoozing on a bed or a chair, Figaro has enjoyed looking out at nature through our back door or windows. He is an extremely mellow kitty. He easily gets spooked and hides, he will thrive in a quiet, mellow home. Figaro has done well with other cats and children and would do great in a home that can provide lots of snuggles! Figaro has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Figaro can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
