Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. www.ggohinc.com These little cuties came to us on day one of their life - momma birthed five kittens, some of which had limb differences, causing the farm owner who found them to reach out for help. With the challenges that these little ones were going to face, we couldn't say "no" when asked for our help. So, momma and babies all arrived and to our delight, oh how cute and special they were. Both Euro and Feta were born with limb differences on their hind legs. For Euro - they turn inward at the ankles, with toes facing each other. We have had Euro checked out multiple times as she's grown and it has been determined that corrective surgery is not an option. Also as you can see in her photos, she is a polydactyl - look at all those cute extra toes! For Feta - her hind legs were also bent, but more so at an angle and one of them was in a position that was dangerous to her as she would too easily catch it on things so we opted to have that leg removed. Her remaining hind leg still has the deformity but it causes her no issues. That's her laying on the kitty wheel - and yes, she actually runs on it! These two beauties may be different, but they sure don't know it - they run, climb, jump down, play, use a litter box faithfully, and do pretty much what all kittens do - in other words, they don't know they are any different then their kitty friends and therefore, don't act or behave any different. We have had experience with cats with limb differences in the past and can tell you, they do just fine. As for future needs, other than the potential for joint lubricating supplements as they age, there really isn't anything that we or our vets can predict as an issue. Both are great with other cats and have done exceptionally well with one of our puppies that recently joined us. They've be great with older children that can be mindful of their hind legs being a little different - toddlers may not understand that their legs cannot be straightened out and might try to "undo" them. Also, even though they don't have any physical limitations, toddlers might not be aware of how their legs could catch on things and try to pull him out of spaces rather than just assist him gently out. And there also is the potential for toddlers to drop them and obviously, that would not be an ideal situation for them, either. Really, other than not going into a home with toddlers, there's no other exceptions. These two are the sweetest, cuddliest, bravest and most fearless kittens we've ever seen. They are pure joy and bring instant smiles to everyone. Even though we've listed these two as special needs, they really aren't - they are just special in their own unique way. All we can tell you is to come in and meet them - you'll see instantly what we're saying here. These two are going to steal your heart so be ready for that! DOB 1/11/2023.
