Rosalind was rescued from an elderly woman's garage after the woman passed on, with the ELEVEN babies that she and two other mamas raised together. The kind woman's family searched for rescue and after a plane ride to Napa, the WHOLE kitty-sister-wives-family landed in one foster house to continue raising their babies together. Rosalind has always been the most outgoing of the three mamas and true to her Tortie nature, demands pets and affection! She is a talker and will respond to you when you call her. She will do anything to get you to pet her---meow, headbump, flop in front of you and pull your hand into her face...she is hilarious! She's always the first one at the door when they hear foster mama coming. She also loves feet. She will rub on them and hold them with her two paws as she nuzzles them. Even though she's an adult (we're guessing around 18 months?) she plays LIKE A KITTEN!!!! In fact, when foster mom tries to play with the kittens, Rosalind jumps in and steals the mouse toy, belled ball or annihilates the wand toy before the kittens can even get to it. And boy does she love to grab her prey and kick it!!! She loves small stuffed animals so she can kick and conquer them! Oh, and zoomies...she still has them and does them nightly! It's like she's drunk from the fountain of youth! It's serendipitous that Rosalind needs a house where she's the only animal (not found of cats or dogs...we think it's a result of living on the streets and raising babies), because her antics, her zoomies, her play...everything is equal to two kitties!!! She does get along with her two sister wives, Lady Capulet and Rosamund (who is going in for spay soon) and of course, all the shared babies. The babies have Shakespeare names if you're looking to adopt two. ****Breaking News*** mama LOVES CATNIP. You must be a 'Catnip Friendly' household :) Adoption fee $200. Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours).
