Honey is a tortoiseshell sweetheart with a gentle disposition and an old soul. She enjoys spending quiet time with her humans, often loafed up and observing thoughtfully. Her golden eyes truly melt the heart, and you’ll find yourself falling in love with her cute, round face and tender personality. A great listener and a faithful companion, certainly not a troublemaker, and an easy cat to care for overall, but would prefer regular interactions to truly warm up and build a strong connection.Honey became a young mama of 4 gorgeous babies at a tender age of 6 months, trying her best to raise them in the streets, just like many poor stray kitties. Rescuers saved her just in time before her 2nd litter arrived in the biting cold.The ideal household for Honey would be a safe place for her to explore her curiosities and build confidence in a new environment. After losing her litter of 5 kittens, Honey has made great progress in bouncing back, but still exhibits some timidness to new stimuli. As such, she would work well with a patient adopter who understands her hardships and nurtures Honey’s best traits. She can interact comfortably with other cats, but may prefer a household where she is the sole cat.As included in the adoption fee, Honey has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, de-flea’d, and litterbox and house-trained. She has tested positive for FIV and negative for FeLV, and is looking to bring warmth and love to your household. Honey and her fellow feline fosters have been enjoying a fulfilling, safe, and happy stay together.
