Shortly after she was moved into foster care, an orphaned kitten the same age as her own needed a surrogate mom; Ivy Rose took one sniff, picked him up, and put him in the middle of her babies to claim him as her own thereafter. She was a devoted mother and her kittens have recently begun to get adopted; however, when Raquel Welch was separated from her mother, she went into a depression and stopped eating even though she was still with her siblings. Once reunited, she bounced back and has been glued to her mom's side ever since. ---When Ivy Rose was found, she had a severe ear infection that had deformed her left ear into a painful cauliflower. She had surgery to remove most of the pinna and open up the canal, and everything has cleared up beautifully, but she will require some regular cleaning and ongoing watchfulness to make sure all continues to be well. Ivy Rose is a sweet and loving kitty who more than anything wants to be around people. She will follow you around the house in order to stay in the same room and is a great couch companion. She loves attention and pets, and is particularly fond of doing a super-cute twisting roll to look up at you. Ivy Rose likes to play with fleece wands and now that she doesn't have the competition of her kittens getting to the toys first is enjoying them even more! ---Raquel Welch is a playful and silly girl who darts through crinkle tunnel, perches on the top of scratching posts, tosses little toys around, and is very active. She needs some wearing out before she's ready for lengthy snuggles, though as she gets older she may not hold out for games quite as long. Raquel is adorable and sweet and has the cutest little gray heart on her nose! ***This mother-daughter duo MUST be adopted together. They are comfortable with small cat-friendly dogs; we haven't seen them with larger ones, but they seem overall unconcerned. Ivy Rose hasn't tried to actively make friends with other cats though is fine co-existing when they don't bother her. Gentle respectful children over ten should be fine. Ivy Rose and Raquel Welch are both sweethearts. Will they become joyful members of your family?
