How this pet arrived: Jimbo was brought into care by a Field Services Officer on April 26, 2023. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Jimbo! Jimbo is a handsome older fella who is ready and waiting to meet his new family! Jimbo didn't expect to be house hunting at his age, but here he is, and all he wants is a warm spot in your home to nestle into! Jimbo is shy at first, but warms up over time and is as cute as can be! He'll roll over and look adorable, but he is currently a "pet me with your eyes" kind of cat and although he purrs when you're near him, he's been uncomfortable with being touched. Jimbo had some dental care while in the shelter, and does have a chronically broken tail, though we don't think it causes him any pain. He's feeling much better now, but we just recommend yearly vet visits to ensure that he's feeling his best! If you go slow and just give him the time he needs to warm up, he's bound to be a great companion! If you think you can help this guy feel better than ever, come on down to Oceanside today!
