Hi, my name is Avery and I could really use your help. You see, my human family was really great - they gave me lots of love and attention but then this puppy arrived and he was too much for me! It was a pit/boxer mix, so as he got bigger, things got worse. A smaller breed, older dog might be ok - as long as it leaves me alone. The folks at SCC have been working to find that right home for me. I had older kids in my previous home and did great with them (12 and over) because sometimes I get a bit overstimulated and can play a bit rough and it's important that they be able to read my signs. I do like to play with toys. I love to chase them. I am a huge talker and can be quite vocal sometimes. Oh, and don't skimp on the treats! I love head, chin, and cheek scratches, but can quickly get tired of full body pets. I'm also a great cuddler when I want to be and have an unlimited supply of gentle headbutts for you. I have scooted outside in my current home, so I might be a good supervisor for you if you like to garden and I can have a bit of chaperoned outdoor time. I love people and am very friendly. Things would be best If there's people or children around during the day. As for another cat, I do have a bit of a bossy side so I think it would be best for one cat, preferably younger female.
